Bimal Raj Gyawali

Hello! My name is Bimal. I am currently working with Prof. Konstantinos Kallas, UCLA on automatic synthesis of tool code, such as databases and APIs for LLM agents.

I completed my Bachelor of Engineering in Software Engineering from the Pokhara University.

Research Interests

I wish to develop systems that can automatically generate programs from natural language descriptions or examples, ensuring correctness guarantees in the generated code. I want my research to go beyond theoretical contributions and produce tools that both developers and non-developers can use to achieve their goals. To achieve this, I am planning to draw techniques, methodology, and tools from the fields of PL, SE, ML, HCI.
